Have you ever wanted to build your own Electric Guitar? Well, now you can!!! Irv Mott will show you the steps to build your own Electric Guitar. We will take you from a stack of wood to a beautifully crafted Electric Guitar ready to finish in the color of your dreams! Once you have finished your guitar, additional assistance will be offered to install the electronics and setup the guitar for playing.
In this class, you will build an electric guitar with dual humbucking pickups and gold hardware. The body will be Mahogany and the 24 fret 25 scale neck will be Maple with your choice of a Rosewood or Bloodwood Fretboard.
The class requires:
- Approximately 48 Hours total working time. To be done both in class and at home. Schedule is flexible and is arranged with Irv during the first class. Irv will be also be available via email during normal business hours and can schedule to meet you at the shop should you need offline assistance.
- Intermediate wood working skills.
