Pen Lab is a day-long penmaking extravaganza. You buy the blanks and kits you want to use. You can choose Slimline pens, like we use in the Turning Beautiful Pens class, or the more substantial American Flat Top and European styles which provide extra decorative potential. Or go beyond pens. You can turn magnifying glasses, key rings, scratch awls, and more with the same techniques.
You’ll enjoy this fast-paced, one-day lab, taught in Phil Roybal’s friendly style. If you’re already comfortable turning pens, you can start right off. Beginners are welcome, and Phil will teach the techniques to those who need them. He will also demonstrate sharpening, and a variety of decorative techniques including laser engraving, throughout the day.
