Phil has been an amateur woodworker for 35 years, working with both power and hand tools. He is a volunteer woodworking instructor at Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, as well as the librarian and a volunteer mentor for the Silicon Valley Woodturners (SVW) club in San Jose.
